WWFY Swap 3, Part 2

I finally finished this project.  I had a leftover skein, so GardenPurl requested a headband of the same cable (though I personally think it works better as a cowl) and I still have about a half-skein left.

The sweater is huge.  It makes me wonder how I will ever knit a sweater for a guy in any weight besides worsted or up.  It took me about a month and a half, which is not bad considering how I had to change the gauge to fit the yarn and all sorts of other mishaps along the way.  I had to rip back a few time to get it right.

This yarn is super cozy and quite soft.  I wish I could keep the sweater but I’m practically swimming in it, so it’s probably just as well.  If I could make some mods, it would be to keep the cable going as long as I could get it to go.  It looks kind of odd just stopping the way it did.  Oh well.

Pattern: Vihervaara-huppari/Green Gable Hoodie (Ravelry link) with LOTS and LOTS of mods.
Yarn: Brown Sheep Lamb’s Worsted Superwash (Blaze)
Needle: Size 8

One WWFY swap down, one left to go…  Lots and lots of socks…  =/  I need my sock mojo back.
