WIP Wednesday

I’ve only been knitting on one project lately, though there are plenty that need ends woven in and/or blocking.  This one is both a prototype and a Christmas gift for a friend’s mom.  (Because she is so awesome like that!)

You can see the shape here, but there’s a lace pattern too.

It was really awkward to photograph my right arm with my left since I’m a righty, not to mention, I had to twist my arm to show the lace pattern.

I’m not completely satisfied with the lace pattern the way it is, but it works up very quickly, and I definitely like the shaping.  The thumb gusset isn’t a straight line like most patterns, but is fitted, just like how I did the Honeycomb Twist Mitts.

I think I need more projects on the needles/hooks.

Those will be very warm. I’m going to do some one day that length, but with fingers. Because that’s where I need the warmth!
