FO: Rill Scarf

By the way, today is the birthday of my dear friend Rebecca, who also helps me photograph my patterns.  Remember the yarn I bought as a gift but couldn’t reveal?  Well it was for her and you can see the progress of the sweater here.

I really really love this scarf.  It’s just so ruffly and awesome and LONG.  I love long scarves!  Yes, it’s lace-weight on tiny needles, but it is worth every moment!

Well, it was a decent length before blocking.  I’m not all that tall, so this length would have been pretty good.

Oh so ruffly and in desperate need of a block!

I looked through the different projects to see how people had blocked it, but I ended up just pinning randomly and it became this strange shape.  Afterwards, I steamed blocked the points out and and redid the lace panel.

Now it’s ridiculously long and awesome!

I can double-wrap it and it’ll be a good length too.

And I love wearing it like this as well.  Love love love this scarf!

Pattern: Rill Scarf (Rav link)

It turned out magnificent! Very helpful to see how you blocked it, too. I love the versatility!
