FO: Milanese Loop

Awhile ago, Danette asked me to knit her an infinity scarf.  The back-and-forth emails turned into two and here is the first:

I knit this in three days.  Seriously.  I can’t believe I finished it so quickly, but it’s a nice and easy pattern.

It looks so pretty double-wrapped too.

Unfortunately, I think it lengthened after blocking.  I hope it’s not too big for Danette, she’s petite (and super pretty, too!) so she might have to run it through the washing machine in hot water to shrink it a bit.

Rebecca thinks I made the lace too loose, but I think it looks nice like this, don’t you?  I think the lace pattern works well for both a tighter gauge or a looser one.

Pattern: Milanese Loop (Rav link)
Yarn: Simply Cotton Sport in Dogwood
Needle: Size 7

I don’t think the lace is too open or loose. It looks really nice!

I love it, too. Even if it is too big, it won’t show if she double wraps. Gorgeous!
