30 Day Photography Challenge: Day 16 – A Good Habit

The Challenge

I need to preface by saying I’m not a food photographer.  I just photograph what I make to prove to myself I did it.  So I’m sorry for the ugly pictures you are about to see.

I think one of the best habits a person can have is to make everything.  You learn how much everything is worth, and how much we’ve undervalued the things we buy.

Besides, you work off some of the fat that you eat.  HAHA.  Each green onion pancake is double rolled.  The whole batch takes me about 50 minutes to roll out.  I made the dough last night and rolled it out in the morning to fry.  I used this recipe, but I halved the salt, which my parents liked, but I didn’t.  They suggested that it might need more oil…  I’m not really sure what I else to do to make it taste more like the store-bought ones.
